    Hey all,
    so recently I managed to f*** up my left shoulder. It mainly hurt on Bench, so I decided to go lower weight on Friday and let it rest over weekend. However today I couldn't even Bench, neither do Dips, BUT I could do Military Press without problems (even broke PR today).

    Should regular R.I.C.E. fix my problem? Is it Rotator Cuff or pulled (Lateral) Deltoid Muscle? Or?

    Thanks a lot.

    Happened to me a few times. A few days rest always cured it. If it doesn't hurt that bad, it'll probably go away with some rest. I'd just give it a few days before I'd go to a doctor.

    For the time being if i were you i would do the following;

    -Resting from any movement that causes pain, aka bench and dips. Can you do pushups?
    -Streching along with soft tissue work of pec minor, which can commonly become tight and restrict range of motion. To do so get a tennis ball and lie on the floor or against a wall with the arm internally rotated, place the ball over your chest until you find a tight spot, this will likely be pec minor.
    -Scapula Push ups and other shoulder mob drills such as shoulder dislocations.
    - Scapula wall slides may also be useful to you as they also stretch the pecs.

    Definitely give it longer to rest, up to a week at least, try and find the direct area of pain if you can, there are also some shoulder examinations that you'll easily be able to find on the net. If you can do some that could rule out a few potential causes.

    Thanks for answer KJB, helpful as usual Smiley

    Push-ups hurts as well.

    I've been using some muscle-gel on it past two days, let it rest & streching seems to do the work and it feels much better now. Still not completely. As everything, it needs more time  Angry
