Day 2 - Week 1 of SL 5x5

Today i went through the program and it seemed 4x easier than A. Workout B is much easier for me..i dont know why
Workout B
5x5 Squats
5x5 Standing overhead shoulder press
1x5 Deadlift
Squats- Today i increased my squats by 5 pounds. It was a pain to find 2 (2.5) pounds plates. Im up to 90 pounds right now but feel i can go more, but the program says to stop at a weight that challenges your form. The weight felt the same as last workout so i guess im building muscle to substitute for my first workout.
Standing Overhead Shoulder Press- I grabbed a 45 and it was easy. Then i grabbed a 55 and it challenged my form a bit, but still felt easy so i rested for a minute or a bit less in between sets.
Deadlift- Whats up with the 1 set of 5 reps??? My form started to get a bit challenged at 95 pounds. I did it for 5 reps and i couldnt stand the fact that i finished my program in around 45 minutes so i did another set after 1 minute.

You would do well to start a progress Diary instead of new threads everytime you have a workout. Good that you're enthusiastic about your workout though.
1 set of deadlifts because they progress quickly and work a lot of the body, more sets just makes recovery harder.

Click "new topic" in the top-ish right corner. Give it a title, write a little about yourself (routine, height, weight etc) and post it.
