Hi folks,
Here I am again for your advises.
First of all, on February 29 one of the competition is coming at my gym. Yes, at my local gym. The rules are simple, you bench press your body weight for as much as you can. For instant, my weight is 74kg. I have to bench press 74kg for as many reps as possible.
I have never been training for endurance and have got no knowledge at all. All I know is that training for endurance makes me sick. Grin
You can see i have got 3 weeks to prepare. Yes, 3 weeks is not a lot, but it was published just today. Did not have any chances to start earlier.
I am asking for advises for those who does know how to train for endurance.
1. How many days should i hit the gym a week?
2. How many days a week should i train my chest? Especially bench press.
3. Can anyone give me a suggestions how should a split my workout plan? upper/lower, push/pull, circuits or full body or maybe something else? I have no ideas.
Also, i was wondering if you have ever tried to bench press your body weight for as much reps as possible. If yes, how many you were able to do?
If you have to say something i did not ask, please say it.
Reps will be given for any help  Smiley

Just continue with your training and enjoy the contest because 3 weeks training is not enough to effect significan changes to how much you'll be lifting.  Azn

    Are you sure about this?
Currently on Monday i do 10x3 bench press and on Thursday 4x10 incline bench press. Also dips 4x10. Nothing else for chest.
Should i change something? Like switching incline bench press to bench press. For example, nn Monday 10x3 incline on Thursday 4x10 bench?  Smiley

I'm sure.  The only thing you should focus on is improving your bench press form.  You'll be doing a military bench press competition right?  It'll be a religious experience.

    Yes, same like in video.
Do you know why he did not keep his feet on the ground?
    Isn't it allowed in competitions?
44 reps are a lot, i would be happy if could do 15 reps  Smiley He has some endurance.

To remove the foot drive, one does not put the feet on the ground.

    It's not allowed.

The military bench is strict. Hehe

So, now you know what you need to practice one, which is your form.

There are similar tests with respect to the deadlift and squats.  :3  You lift your body weight too for repetitions.
