I was asking a fellow lifter for advice on how to do OH press, because it is one exercise I suck at.  CanNOT get the concept of straight line up and down movement of bar and always hyperextending / bring it back, (YES I do flex ass muscles and core, but still happens, even with lighter weight)  so he suggesting resting it on the rear delts instead and bringing it up.  req's more balance = more core stability.  any thoughts?

Bringing it behind your head seems really dangerous to me! It could easily tear up your shoulders. Plus, if you fail to get the weight up, you can't just drop it and get away without risking severe injury. Just work on the form until you get it. It's worth the time and effort.
