It mainly works the traps and biceps secondary as well as some lats and rear delts. Think of it as a barbell row for the traps...

    It works traps (lower and middle fibers), posterior deltoids, rhomboids, and arm flexors (brachialis, brachioradialis mostly, but also some biceps brachii). It also works the teres minor and infraspinatus (external rotators). In fact, this is one of the greatest benefits of this exercise: it works external rotation, and as coach Poliquin says in the video, it gives lifters an opportunity to offset all the bench pressing (to put it simply, working pecs, and even lats, promotes internal rotation) and helps keep healthy shoulders.

    *Offset PRESSING exercises. Actually doesn't quite offset the bench, as no single exercise does. The obvious article most people know to link you to how to perform them is

    if you use a neutral grip it will give you maximum shoulder health benefit (but you might need to use lower weight)
