Hello everyone,

I'm gonna explain my story soon, but it'll help when you keep this list in mind Smiley
Week 1 (8 rep week)
Week 2 (S61XL week)
Week 3 (8 rep week)
Week 4 (this week)

As you see, I did the S61XL workouts 2 weeks ago. I did all of them, including a self-made chest and leg one Smiley
All these workouts were great imo, I gave 110%, was sore for multiple days afterwards, and really had fun doing them, even though they were so exhausting Smiley
However, week 3 was a pain, I couldn't nearly lift as much as in week 1. In week 3, I did my chest workout on monday and lats workout on tuesday, but took the rest of the week off, as I thought I wasn't fully recovered yet.
Now, I just ended my chest workout, and my performance was about the same as in week 3: quite pathetic.
In other words, it's been 2 weeks after the S61XL week, and I still can't nearly lift the same weight as before the S61XL workout.
So the question is: Is it possible I'm still not fully recovered yet?

Aside from that, I also have another question: my dumbbell flys never have been that good imo. I'm lifting for nearly 2 years now and have seen great improvements in my chest area, but I'm still doing flys with 14kg in each hand. When comparing myself to others with the same experience, I'm not proud of that weight. Is it possible I'm trying to keep my form a bit too good by keeping my arms straight too much? And if this is the case, should I keep doing them this way or is it better to bend my arms so I can load on more weight? Again, I've seen good results mass-wise, but it would be nice to see some more strenght gains too Smiley
