So I heard about this program on Benchfordeath's thread and I got interested. I've been doing quite low volume work for a while now just focusing on increasing my 1RM's. The progress has slowed down and I'm thinking of starting a new program with high volume.
I looked up Sheiko program #29 which apparently is for beginners/ anyone who hasn't done a full Sheiko program before. It seems to have ALOT of volume but I'm really keen on trying it out. On the first day it tells you to first do Bench press then Squat and then Bench press again, I thought this was a bit weird but I guess the purpose is to rest/cool down in between. Moving on. Deadlifting to knees, never heard of this before. Sure I've heard of deadlifting from a deficit but not this. I'm wondering if this could be replaced by deadlifting from a deficit? Also, when it says to use i.e. 80% of your 1RM for deadlifts of pins, does it mean to use 80% of your normal deadlift max or your deadlift of pins max?
That is all ... for now
