    i disagree with soc.  5/3/1 is a good long term routine to stick to.

    5/3/1 is an intermediate routine tom. For novices, higher frequency on the main lifts is much more benefitial because you will be able to add weight more often.

    In an ideal situation maybe. It can't be my lifestyle. I am in my third year of my degree that's my main focus.
