so i lifted with my own workout for about 5-6 months and it is between intermediate workout and advanced so its a pretty intense hard workout and ive progressed alot in strength. but i took a month off of lifting and i wanna start lifting again and im wondering if i should pick up exactly where i left off with weight and the intense workout i was doing or if i should use less weight for awhile and then work back up to where i was after like two weeks of lower weights?

I wouldn't suggest using the same weight. Sounds a little bit cocky to me, because 1 month off might have lead to some minor strength loss, which will come back after a week of lifting or so (just a random guess).

My advice: Use 80% of the weight you used before on the first set and then increase if you feel like you can handle more weight easily! Smiley
