I'm thirteen years old.  I've never lifted before, but I plan on starting to go to the high school gym in my area after school.  I've set my sights on doing Babylover's Starting Strength, and I wanted to know if I could do this by the end of this year.

132 lbs, 15% body fat ----> 150 lbs, 10% body fat

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    Completely reasonable.  If you've never trained seriously before, you can easily put on 20lbs of muscle in a year.  Eat lots of good food (slightly less if you feel you're getting fat) and lift hard and you can do it.

    I'm thinking if you train hard you will look great,don't worry so much about your weight, getting your body fat down to 10% will be very possible and you are young if you eat clean you should pack on good muscle weight, and if you have a growth spurt who knows how much muscle you will put on, just keep it consistent and concentrate on your meals check out scooby's website he has a chart and will tell you how much you should be eating

    good luck
