You're doing a split or FBW? Squats, deadlifts etc. in your routine?
If you can handle 2 or more ab workouts(Big compounds train your core) then why not to do it then? What exercises would you be doing?
I assume you know getting ripped and defined abs means low bodyfat%

I say train them 2-4 times a week. Some people say you can train them everyday but... IDK about that.

If your goal is muscle gain you need to work them enough and give them enough rest as muscles develop while you're resting. If your goal is endurance then sure, go ahead and do them daily.

i dont do fbw, i do splits, and yes i have stiff legged deadlifts in my routine, for my leg days. right now im doing abs once per week with weighted crunches 3 x 12 , oblique side bend 3 x 12, laying leg raises 3 x 12, bicycles 3 x 24 (12 each side). would it be better for my abs to train them more then once per week? and im not looking for endurance, just stronger and more ripped/defined abs. and i have a low body fat % already.

He said he wanted big bodybuilder abs not flat abs. ? That wouldn't give you flat abs... My friend is a bodybuilder and he defiantly doesn't have flat abs... here's an old picture of him (he's telling me to show you). He works them out everyday....If he lost the little bit of extra fat I'm pretty damn sure those are abs... This picture he was bulking up more.

Not sure I'd have to ask him but I've seen him doing leg raises before. His dad is built even bigger but shorter and better genetics and works his out everyday too. I work mine out 3 days a week. Or just whenever I want to...
