I'm staying at the same reps for chin-ups... Doesn't make sense I'm progressing with everything else. I get enough calories and for protein I get .7 per lb instead of 1 g per lb.

How many reps are you now doing? Smiley  Are you interested in total volume or how much you can do in one set?

How many times a week do you do chinups? Smiley  Maybe we can fix it with a simple deload program for just one week. Smiley

The program I'm doing is on my main profile for 3 times a week. Besides squats and deadlifts, squat twice and deadlift once.

I see.  Do this, 3x4, 3x5, 3x3.  Each set and reps on each day you do your workout, so at the end of the 3rd day, you'll go for 3x6. Smiley

Another solution is to try pavel's ladder.

    Pavel's ladder

persons who tried it were able to do 100's of reps.

You gotta switch it up bro. Chin ups are notorious for being hard to increase (there's even a post dedicated to it on this forum). This is what I did: instead of 3 sets with 60-90 seconds rest, I did 5 sets of 5 with 3 minute rest between sets. Increase the rep by 1 in the last set each time. For example: you do 5 sets, 3 minute breaks and you can do this: 5, 5, 5, 4, 4. Next time do: 5, 5, 5, 4, 5, then 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, etc. when you get up to 7, 7, 7, 8, 8 or around there I got stuck again and went and did weighted chin ups. gluck

I do switch it up, I switched my reps with sets and sets with reps a couple of days ago.  Undecided So say I had 3x5-8 I did 5-8x3 (I did 8 ) with 10lbs also. But it didn't help me any for some reason. Undecided

Great.  Just be careful to not overuse your joints for doing way to many chinups. He hehehe
