I bought ''NSD powerball 250Hz'' today. I dont have any decent forearm workout. I never feel like working out my forearm properly, with these I do '' NSD powerball 250Hz ''. I do compounds, so I would like to know if these would help or the opposite to my WOKOUTS ? SOME LINKS

While I have heard good things about them I dunno why you would want to use them when you could get enough of a forearm workout by using weights alone. I feel like I get enough of a forearm workout from deadlifting alone and since my grip hasn't given out yet I don't really see the point in buying something that may or may not help.
I tried one briefly and just felt like it gave me a burn more than anything else because you have to spin it for so long it tires your forearm out but does it cause any major hypertrophy? I'm not sure. I also found that it was hard to get the same workout on my right arm as I could on my left, it was an awkward movement and felt a little weird with my right wrist, just couldn't get the hang of it.
If you have one then give it a try and see if it works but if you don't I wouldn't go spending my money on one.
That's my two cents, give it a go and tell us how you find it you never know it might help a lot.

Those powerballs might help to build improve your forearm endurance, but it is unlikely you will see any size gains from using one. Really I think that forearm exercises are unnecessary. Any compounds where you are gripping a heavy weight will help your forearms enough, like pullups and deadlifts. The forearms are a small muscle that can't take a lot of punishment, doing isolations may lead to overtraining and actually be counter productive.

if you have average/weak grip then it is likely true that the forearms cannot take much punishment, however those with strong grip I have seen do ridiculous things, such as dennis rogers bending/snapping 5 steel wrenches in a row, or magnus samuelsson on his rolling thunder world record attempt.
As for the powerball, it might be good to use at the end of a workout, or for strengthening your forearms/grip if you have weaknesses there, other than that it's more of a novelty. Hand grippers IMO are the best grip training tool you can buy, and they actually work.

Doing deadlifts will build your supportive grip strength unlike any other. As the others have said doing pullups will also help your grip strength. Just to let you know, a way I used to sometimes train my forearms without directly working them was just by grabbing a dumbbell/barbell tightly with my hand, this will give you a forearm workout, but I find deadlifts to be a better alternative.

If you used the search engine, you'd know you loose armwrestling not because of being weak, but due to technique. As for forearm-exercises, search is your friend. In short: Deadlifts, Rows, Pullups, Shrugs, Plate pinching, Wrist roller. Now check Excellent postings if you want to know more, there are 2 articles about forearms there

After I started doing heavy Bench Presses and Deadlifts and rows as well my forearms greatly increased in size. I found that when I did isolation exercises like Wrist curls etc, they actually ceased from growing..

Best forearm exercises are a back workout^^ Especially the pullups workout my forearms really hard so I alway have great pump, which actually I don't like because I can't go on with pullups.

If you used the search engine, you'd know you loose armwrestling not because of being weak, but due to technique. I just searched and there next to nothing in this forum about armwrestling. If there is a post somewhere claiming that technique is everything in that sport and strength matters not, it's wrong. All the technique in the world won't help you beat an opponent who is significantly stronger.

I don't know what you searched for, but since you didn't find funnisam's posts, you obviously didn't search what I searched for "armwrestling" will give you lots of results. You'll be better at armwrestling if you train strength for half a year than if you didn't, obviously, but technique is king.

I find that db shrugs are one of the best workouts I do that blast my forearms. Just trying to grip such heavy weight (compared to any other db exercise I do) blasts my forearms and grip pretty well... I feel like I would hurt my wrist or something using that weird little ball.

the thing I find amusing is that I needed an operation on my right wrist and I was putting 10k+ on the powerball, then as soon as I got my cast off I could still pull a 10k fairly easily, and I wouldn't say I have particularly strong wrists, pretty obvious from me needing a wrist op.
The only way you could really train your forearms with it is by using the heavy metal one, not the metal lightweight pro. The heavy metal one will be hard for the average person to grip especially when it is rotating.
