Naturally big muscles?

It seems like everyone has a muscle that just was always strong, and reaps the most gains, for me it seems to be my forearms and abs. For example a guy may out bench me, and equal me in curls but I can usually beat him arm wrestling quite easily, even more worn out than him. I also have very strong abs for a guy who never does crunches.
Is this just a side effect of some activity I do a lot and do not realize or can some people just genetically be strong in certain areas? Some people in my family have forearms like powerlifters.

1. Genetics - Most likely some one in your family has the same Genetics. I was a Sprinter and my Son is a gifted Sprinter.
2. Sports and/or Occupation - Folks that have manual labor jobs or engage is certain sports can be stronger than others.
Much like Olympic Gold Hurdeler "Guy Drut" Hanging with NFL Linebackers while perfroming the Clean and Press!
He finished 3rd with guys that out weigh him by 60 - 80 lbs.
