But anyways can I still workout even though im sore from this stretching?  I would assume yes because it is just stretching,  but im not sure so I was wanting your opinion. Im sore in the shoulders, and lats.

They should be weaker, but there won't be any problem.

If you are sore from stretching you likely pulled something. Stretching cold has been shown to cause more damage than no stretching. You should warm up first, then do some stretches, and they shouldn't cause any pain afterwards.

Getting big, strong muscles and losing fat is simple but it's not easy! To accomplish anything worthwhile in life, you need a firmly fixed goal; willpower; a high tolerance for pain.

    If they're weaker then that's a problem.

If you're sore from stretching then I would put the work out on hold. If you're sore then it would be difficult for you to work out at your full potential, and therefore won't have a good session. You should never feel sore from stretching by the way. As breunor said, stretching cold will cause more damage. If you're going to stretch, warm up first.

You can still work out, but if it's going to cause too much pain, it will interfere. Off topic, but soreness doesn't always necessarily mean muscle damage. When you perform a new exercise intensely for the first time, you will get INTENSE DOMS for the next few days, but the next week you perform the esame exercise with the same intensity, the DOMs will be minimal, if any. The cause of it is that your body is not used to doing a new move.

Just like when you don't usually shop around mall, but on a Saturday, you shopped there for 5 hours straight non-stop walking. Your legs get sore at the end. Same concept.  Wink
