Hey EvilCyber, I have been working out for about a year. I am 18. Last few months I noticed i have bulked up and become stronger quite a lot. I started thinking about some variations in my workout plan. Which one of Scoobys workouts would u recommend me? Thanks.

Today there are many people who are trying to lose weight, but the battle of the bulge can be a difficult one, especially without the help of diet pills.

hi i am 16 and i have been working out since begining of november ish and i have seen significant gains in strength and lately abit of definition and size increase. for example; i used to be able to do no wide arm pull ups but i can now do 7 or 8, (i weigh 14 stone). i used to be able to do 12 kg bicsep curls 6 times for three sets, now i can do 19 kg 8 times for three sets. i was thinking, should i carry on with what i am doing at the moment if im getting stronger and abit bigger. the one thing i have to do more is work my legs. i was talking to a few guys at the gym and the guy why runs it and they were saying that your legs release hormones or something into your blood which encourages muscle growth for the whole body?? would this if true help me get stronger and bigger ? thanks

Hey there, this if my first post here.

    I'm 31 and 6' 6 "

I have been following scooby's intermediate workout for 4 months. http://scoobysworkshop.com/schedintermediate.htm
Now I can do about 17 push-ups (good form) and 3/4 pull-ups (good form). According to this schedule one should switch to the advanced intermediate workout plan until one can do 5 pullups and 10 pushups. On this forum it says to stick with the beginner plan until one can do 30 push-ups and 7 pull-ups. I thought I was almost there Wink

Now, should I continue with scooby's intermediate plan till i reach the 30/7 or is it ok to switch to the advanced intermediate plan in a couple of weeks?

Encore, i'd recommend staying with the intermediate routine simply because fullbody workouts are better than a split. You will make better gains in the beginning with a fullbody workout.

    Hi,

I'm in a dilemma and don't know what to do. I started working out in oct last year with scooby's old beginners workout plan. I hope you guys remember (not me, his plan  Cheesy). I switched to his old intermediate plan after 3 months of training and made some great results. I'm on a split plan and train specific muslce groups once week now doays, being more precise:

    Monday: Legs
    Tuesday: Cardio/Abs/Obliques
    Wednesday: Chest/Back
    Thursday: Cardio/Abs/Obliques
    Friday: Delts/Bis/Tris

Some people here told me that i could benefit more from a FBW workout but switching to another routine now feels like i throw everything ive made so far over board. When do you actually know when to get off a FBW?

I do like 12-14 clean pull ups and approx. 45 push ups.

Maybe you arent eating enough if you are feeling weak and sore. Maybe take a week off anyway and when you start working out again eat a few more hundred calories a day and see if it helps.

    Heeey,

Im doing this workout now for like 2 months, but in all that time the only way ive warmed up was by doing a 3km jog.
Some people said that jogging drains to much energy from your workout section and cant make gains? :S allthough I still make gains..
but what should I do, continue jogging or find another way to warm myself up.
