Two problems:
i. lack of mastery of technique; and
ii. low endurance.
the first is remedied by practicing your holds more. doing some strength training will allow you to hold more tightly. (consider starting strength)
the second is remedied by jogging/jump rope.
pills etc. I don't know that part. :/
