Since seeing some other pictures of progress from other members of these forums, I figured I'd post mine. I don't really notice myself skinnier when I just look at myself in my mirror, except for my face, but when I took these pictures today and compared it to the ones I took 2 months ago, I definitely can tell on the side shot that my stomach is going down, which makes me feel great. The pictures on the right are the new pictures btw. EDIT - Oh yeah, this is from 328 to 310. Still a lot of work ahead but I'm not stopping.

That's over 2lb a week, good going mate, and definitely noticeable in the side shot as you say, also in the front shot in the handles area Keep up the good work

Nice job. What's your workout routine been like?
I go to the gym 3-4 times a week for about 30-60 minutes(depends on how much time I have). The whole time I'm there I really only do the elliptical machine set to 12 resistance and 12 incline at 120rpm. I eat 2000-2500 calories per day. I only eat that little because I'm so obese I feel I can take the risk of muscle lost for right now.

People like you, who try hard, and focus on what they do, and do their best really inspire me - I have been training for 19-20 weeks now, and obviously not in an insulting way but I wasn't as big as you are, but so much has changed for me, and I hope you keep it up, you will transform your entire life and feel so happy about what you achieved. Do not let anything put you down or make you change your direction. In the end you'll get there and you'll never have felt better.

hey i was the same a large man like you, now my circumstances were maybe different than yours but i was depressed no gf couldnt walk up the stairs without gasping for breathe and me only in my early 20s that isnt on so i decided enough was enough and found scooby God is what he is and after i suppose now 3 1/2 months i have lost 3 stone through changing my diet and excerise thats is as simple as that so now im like a different person happy all the time just feel so different and the best motivational booster for me is when someone comes up to and says holy shit look at you your half the person you were well that just pushes me even harder to accomplish my goal to have a build like vin diesel

Oh I know. My favorite part of doing all of this is the extra energy I've gotten due to working out and doing cardio.

OK peanutman, I want to see your abs by the time entries are due for my success stories contest in 15 months. You have an awesome start and enough time. One warning, dont cut your calories too much as it can backfire bigtime. I suggest 20% deficit, its something that can be maintained for 15 months without causing the urge to pig out. Here how to calculate your calories http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
