So I am hooked on the gym and have had great success at dumping fat.Now I can see my toes for the first time in years and feel an energy I haven't had since I was a kid.I might as well use it to my advantage and add some muscle.Only looking for maybe 50lbs or so.hehe

.Not sure if can accomplish this considering my age and time needed,, but long term desire makes me feel good.I have been strength training for over a year and have learned much and thought I was on the right track until today.Now I am a little confused about my calorie consumption.I used the Scooby go go calorie gadget and got a a total 3965 to lose fat and build muscle.If I consume these calories,,,would I lose fat at the same rate as I gain muscle??(ie 5 to 10lbs a year)
What will happen if I continue to consume the estimated caloric intake for the 20% fat reduction(3172 and continue to my intense heavy lifting routines?there is a 40 gram loss in protein here that I could get from carb reduction to get my necessary intake of protein to keep muscle.
Please keep in mind I analyze things a lot so some experienced explaining would be most useful to me.
