Heya guys, Im 14 and weight 9"5 I honestly hate myself for being so fat. It is so ebmarasing looking like Zoidberg. Its annoying around my pears because their all developing pecks and abbs and all i have is fat. I want to shave of a Inch all over. If i can do that i can do anything. i have been working out (im realy relaxed in the picture) but cardio is walking and occasionaly jogging. My diet is... normal. I would say. Today i had a cheat day but that is irelevant. Foot note. I dont have any lunch

i would say do more cardio 40 - 60 mins a day, 6 days a week
eat good food frequently, do not skip any meal 5-6 times a day
and dont go heavy on weights because you are just 14 i recommend light weights , body weight exercises
and be patience

Well you've come to the right place Start with this program: http://www.askscooby.com/excellent-postings/evil%27s-teen-beginner-workout-24689/That will get the basics down and not be too much for growing joints. It's really hard to figure out your TDEE and exactly how much you should be eating in your early teens, because the drastic shifts that are going to be happening in hormone levels and your metabolism. So fat loss wise, it would be easier to try and work in more cardio. Every little bit helps. Swear off elevators, try to walk or ride a bike places instead of getting a ride in a car, etc..

Im just thinking, does my belly depend on how relaxed my abbs are and
How long would to take to get rid of my fat jogging regularly for 20 minutes

Eating healthy, doing cardio every day... 3month? Maybe slightly more? It's individual.

Hate yourself!!
No way.
Let that thought go right out the window.
You are choosing to make a huge change. So change the attitude too. Love yourself for taking the time to learn about proper eating and exercise. How about a pat on the back!?
It took you a long time to gain the weight (store the energy) and it will take some time to use it up. Like the others said cardio-anything that makes your heart pound for 30 minutes a day and sweat.
The other thing is making sure to drink water! Lots of it. If you are not peeing every 45 minutes to an hour clear liquid, you are dehydrated. And that makes it harder to lose weight. Do not confuse water with soda, juice, pop, milk shakes etc.-
… just simple clean water.
Just think I am 40 and doing the very same thing you are. So if I can do this you can too!
If I can choose an apple over a soda you can too.
Oh, speaking of food...
Losing some body fat will be easier with diet changes. Good diet changes will help you be stronger too.
You can make simple choices like no chocolate bars, chips, soda's, candy for example. But you need to replace those habits with other ones like reaching for a banana, an orange, salad... so you get the real energy needed to fuel the changes you want to create.
Share with you family the kind of changes you want to make, see if they can help with buying whole food that you like, making meals you like that will help you change your eating habits.
Better yet go grocery shopping with them and learn, this is a life skill you will eventually need. This website has lots on nutrition for you to read up on.
Might want to consider a journal here for motivation or on your computer with a list of the foods you eat and what exercises you do.
Good luck and stand proud!
And if you do not feel proud right now, fake it to you make it.

Ditto on the giving up on the self-hate.
How long it takes to lose excess fat depends on proper diet and exercise. Don't do any crash dieting or extreme exercising trying to make things go faster. Despite what you see on some popular TV shows, rapid weight loss through extreme tactics does not work in the long run for the vast majority of people and can be detremental to your health and even your psychological well-being. You need to make healthy lifestyle changes. More activity, less junk food, and a positive attitude even when things aren't going the way you had hoped.
If you eat approximately 500-1,000 kcal/day less than you burn, you will lose an average of 1-2 pounds of fat per week. Notice I said "fat" not "weight". Weight varies due to influences other than just fat gain or loss, hydration being a big one. Your weight will go down as you lose fat, but it might start and stop, or even increase from time to time so expect it and don't freak out. At your age you've got a lot of growing going on and plenty of hormonal changes. You might put on 10 or more pounds in a year of lean mass from normal growth alone. If you also lost 10 pounds of fat, your weight would stay the same but there would have been a 20+ pound shift from fat mass to lean. Don't obsess about the scale. Instead focus on how you look, feel and perform.
Be honest with yourself when you consider how much you exercise and what you eat. I suggest keeping a detailed and accurate log for a week or two at least once every couple of months as a reality check to prevent program drift. Drift is that tendency for your 2,000 kcal/day diet to become 2,100 kcals, then 2,400 even though you perceive your diet as unchanging. Or it could be your cardio intensity dropping and your frequency of exercise slipping.
