I am 150lbs and 5'9 and i have a pretty decent 6 pack when flexing. But i noticed i can pull my skin out 3 inches on my abs and all the skin is covering up some of the ab defintion im pretty sure its not fat cause i was always a really skinny kid with a high metabolism. So is there anyway to get rid of this extra skin?

Can you show a picture of abs, and a picture of the skin being pulled out?

There are alot of helpful people here, and i can see them wanting to see pictures.

i used to wonder how i could be 4-5% body fat and not have ab definition like the fitness models, the answer is lighting, flexing, angle, oiled up, and being a master of dehydration, go 1 or 2 days without water and consume no more then 20mg of sodium, consume very little potassium, you might be bloated a bit in the lower belly if you are intolerant to lactose, gluten, nuts, soy, etc you would have to avoid those foods.basically i wouldnt suggest doing any of this unless you are going to the beach or swimming pool and want to show off your abs to the ladies for the day. there is probably a lot more secrets i dont know for im not a pro bb or fitness model. i can tell ya even at 4% body fat i dont have bulging abs unless i flex or have no water in me.

Same problem here, dude Sad I got my abs showing & everything, but the skin at the bottom is just not budging. It could be down to just genetics. I feel if I lose any more body fat, I'll just pass out or die. I'm at 5% and still no definition below the belly button Angry. Some people just have a very flat lower abs muscle, so no matter how hard you work, you'll never have that son of a bitch showing. I don't think you should trouble yourself too much about it. Like Borracho said, the stuff you see on fitness models is tricks & lighting. Nobody walks around with chiseled abs unless they flex really hard Tongue

i'm 10% bodyfat and i'dont have loose skin on my lower abs so it's genetic thing . maybe you can lose it , maybe not . you can lose the extra skin by gaining muscle and eating healthy food because if you give your skin the vitamins that it need it will help you to lose the extra skin by make process faster . wait for skin to by tighten by time . if the skin not tighten up then you need surgery believe it is not bodyfat problem it is genetic problem . if you lose extra fat maybe your skin become tighter because losing fat help your skin to tighten up faster believe me it will tighten up

Sorry, I'm a bit tired but still this sounds pretty wrong to me. Or I understand it the wrong way Cheesy

Same picture applies for your 4% bodyfat, highly doubt it!

You look just fine, don't worry about it!

Lol... thanks for the... advice Smiley I said it was genetics, not a genetic problem. There is absolutely no need for any surgery. It's just that some people can get something like 8 packs visible, while others can only have 6. It's not loose skin, it's the way the muscle is.

    This is what I mean:

The guy above will never get an 8 pack, no matter how low his BF is, since he has the flat type of lower abs muscle.
The guy below, however, has the 8 pack, but it's all down to genetics, not a genetic problem Grin
