I'd like to invest in a new scale that is very accurate.  The one I have right now, I have to get on it like 10 times to get an average weight and its really annoying.  It will give me a 5lb high/low and its hard to accurately judge my weight loss week by week, which is what I'd like to do.

I'm not looking to drop a crazy amount in the scale, but I'm willing to spend a decent amount on one that will be accurate and last me a long time.  So does anyone have any idea's what are good?

I'm willing to order online, but if it helps at all I have a target, kmart, and a walmart near my house, so if either of those sell good ones that would be great.

Do you have some barbell weights ? You can pile some of those onto the scale to see if it is accurate. It's normal for your weight to fluctuate during the day according to how much food & water etc. you have in your body.

No I don't. And I'm not talking about during the day the weight is off.  I'm talking about me stepping on and off and back on 10 times in a row.  Right now it can range from 307-312 and its pretty damn annoying.

nearly all scale do that
you must put it on a solid surface
not a carpet
but on the floor itself
and try to calibrate it with something you know the exact weight of

My scale was doing that too, but not to the extremes that yours is doing. I found that by stepping gently onto the scale I got more accurate results. I still step onto my scale twice or three times, just to make sure I get the same weight each time. Try stepping onto it more gently, and get back to me and let me know if that worked.
