If i want to lose that last bit of belly fat should just do carb cycling, or just do lots of cardio? or both? lol  Huh?

Should probably go jogging too for longer amounts of time ie 15-20 min. But football practice should be pretty good cardio, I wouldnt know though, never played it. But, remember, running isnt the only cardio exercise. There is biking, swimming, stationary bike etc  Wink

its tricky to lose the last part of body fat because your body clings on to it for survival purposes. I suggest carb cycling, but i also believe strict nutrition and intense cardio you could loose that last bit of fat.

I would get a second opinion on this, but im also in your position as well, trying to get my side abs to show more.

for "survival purposes" ... I don't know about that, what I do understand is that because of selection and many many years of it, our bodies have evolved into energy-efficient machines. We can survive on few, and absorb many. This is why getting rid of that last few percent's of unwanted body fat can be so hard. Especially at your age. However, BECAUSE of your age, I wouldn't even bother with such a strict diet, many people would consider it detrimental. Even scooby says that teens should not consider carb-cycling, as your body is growing far more rapidly then us older folk Tongue

read it some where :\ but if you think of it humans could need fat to survive, but thats just me. But yes your input does make great deal of sence.

Humans do need fat to survive. It cushions our organs. I basically took the generalized information that you read some where and broke it down to my own understanding. My biology background is my support on that one. You just made the body sound like it's own existence apart from ourselves. It isn't so much that our body "wants" to hold onto that last bit of fat, it's just more practical for it to do so. Our bodies "hold" onto that last bit of fat simply because it can. We are NOT designed for weight loss. Thats why we must damage our bodies to remove it. By working out, creating a calorie deficit, running. All these things FORCE our body to take into our fat stores which it does not "want" to do. But as we dwindle down our body fat, the mechanisms in our body become more and more efficient at not using that body fat, and being more efficient with the calories we consume, which is why in order to get that low BF we must increase our cardio/workouts (by much more)/ or manipulate our body with carb-cycling.

Ive tried everything to lose my last bit of fat now again for 2 years with so many methods and also alot of training, guess what nothing has worked. Now Iam trying scoobys plan and carb cycling, Iam just at day 5 but I believe Ive already lost a bit, cant say for sure its a bit too early on tho .... And you can believe me Ive tried alot in the 2 years, also without any cheating or bad training. Iam training now since Iam 15 years old and now Iam 30 (but had a 6 years break from 20-26) so I generally know how to train and to eat but the last bit of fat just wont go off doesnt matter what Iam doing.

So if anyone comes again and says you just need a calorie deficit, sport and every method will work and you will lose your last fat I will PILLOW SCREAM Tongue no really, ive tried everything, you can believe me and nothing has worked. Funny to see how I didnt bulk anythng up with 3000 and even more kcal but also didnt lose a bit with just 2000kcal and not even with 1800, you can imagine how damn frustrating this was / is ...

Now I have all my hopes to the carb cycling plan as Scooby has said in his video once he had the same problem and carb cycling have helped him. If this doesnt help then I dont know anymore.

I am not an expert but from my personal experience genetics have a lot to do with how easy or hard it is to loose that last bit of fat. Furthermore, where that fat is stored is also determined by genetics. I lost a lot of weight and I am very skinny however there is still a bit of fat in my midsection, not much but enough to hide my abs. So yes it can be very difficult. Keep at it and do the best you can and realize that not everyone can get and maintain a six pack unfortunately.

Ya I agree, You shouldnt worry about carb cycling at your age. Not to mentiion it is an extremly strict diet that can get tiresome to follow. Im 17 and I eat my normal nutrition but if you want to lose that hold on to my stomach fat, then you can always go to a slight defecit along with some good cardio.
