From what you've said your diet really needs work.
Firstly, it doesn't sound like you are including enough fibrous vegetables in your diet. Things like
broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sweet potato etc. Vegetables are very low in calories and will help keep
you full, and stop you from eating more.
Secondly, what are you drinking? Water is the best option, and the more you can stay clear
of juices/soft drink, the better off you'll be.
You should try to drink 2-3 litres of water a day. This will also
make you feel full, and water is just damn good for you.
Basically, to lose weight, you need to use more calories in a day by exercising, then you are taking in.
first of all, thanks for the replies guys,
well first of all i was doing the atkins diet, what is referred to as a yo-yo diet i think,20 carbs a day high fat low carb deal, lost alot of weight with that but that diet isnt good for the type of job im doing,
i work 8 hours a day of physical labour, and without proper carbs i just lack energy to do my job.
so i started eating a bit of carbs with gym, mainly my yumm ham vege samwitches, but as you have stated i dont have enough veges.
as for the second statement,im trying to drink as much water as possible and stay away from soft drinks, its so hard tho!after all the time iv spent living off the stuff lol, going from real bad foods to healthy stuff,my body is too used to those high calory foods lol,but trying my best, normally drinking lots of water at home and work, and if im lacking energy i might have a cup of coffee, two t spoons of coffee,no sugar or milk, just skull it lol.
but yeah all im really looking for is more of a guideline on what to eat ect,
again, thanks alot for the replies! keep it coming
