Ok so I know that when the traditional running method which using the heel to land first is switched to midfoot to forefoot landing lot of muscles that haven't been used for years now have to start working. I also expect tendon pain since the foot is now "pushed downward" mainly the Achilles likes to complain on this. Now I have further corrected my style and learned to land much better on my forefoot then before. Earlier my foot was in a position to land on my toes. Now I have my foot landing at the ball of my feet.

So did any of you guys get the same pain? I usually take a day off and its fine or sometimes when i run it disappears during running and comes back when I stop.(very bad idea Smiley )

I say take it slowly, it's like transitioning to barefoot running, you only want to start with 5-10 minutes at an easy pace, then the next week go up to 15 minutes, then 20, then 25, then 30 and so on. when I first started I got soreness, but in about a month it was fine
