i have a octane Q37 elliptical machine and I use it with a resistance program for 30 min a day. i usually do my leg workout on sunday and my legs are too sore to do cardio until Tuesday and even then not fully recovered, sometimes longer and my cardio suffers. My goal is to lose body fat and gain muscle, should I cut leg training all together so I don`t struggle so hard through my cardio and just focus on that? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Imo leg training is far more important.

There is no reason why you have to choose between the two. Just switch to a routine that works the legs with higher frequency and less volume per workout (ie less work per session but more often). That way you can avoid DOMS so bad that you have to make a decision on which to do.

Weight training is more important.  Cardio is not for your legs, it's for the cardiovascular system of your whole body.
