has anyone used the you are your own gym book/app by mark lauren? if so did you make any progress and could you also explain the ladder work outs to me lol. i think its with say push ups you do one rep, rest a couple of seconds, do 2 reps, rest again then when you reach a certain number you work your way back down repeating for 7 and half minutes. then you rest 2 minutes before going onto the next exercise?   http://www.marklauren.com/20-minute-workouts-details.html#ladders

Yes. I know this is an old topic, but I thought I would respond. I have been doing the intermediate program in this book for the past 4 weeks. The exercises are not easy, especially when done with a slow controlled count. One of my favorites is an exercise that is called the Let me In. It simulates the bent over dumbell row. You can find an example of this on Youtube. The program eventually has the trainee working up to one limbed versions of the exercises. I still do cardio even though the book recommends against it.
