Well once I got the ball rolling, the yawning ceased, I just felt sluggish and bleh. Not as hyped up as usual. Does this sound like a logical time frame for dosage?
8 a.m.  2.5g creatine w/ breakfast, 10 a.m.  Coffee + Workout,  2.5g creatine w/ dinner

It's not a big deal really, I often have creatine 30 minutes before coffee and I don't notice much of a difference in performance. Just give it a little time to digest.

So you don't experience an adverse relationship between the two? I guess I will see next week when the Cr kicks in, if I can still get the jolt and increase my 1RM.

Compared to the performance decrease I notice when I don't take any creatine, I don't notice a difference.

Hey how long before a workout should i take creatine. I've watched it dissolve extremely quick in water, so i would imagine that it doesn't take long once inside you...

It really doesn't matter. Creatine works on a saturation level inside your muscles, it's not some magic pre- or post-workout booster.

I've searched like crazy... but, my finding skills are lacking it seems Tongue

How much water (or Liquid) do you mix your creatine with?
5 grams of creatine for example? Does it matter how much liquid there is?

does it not have a recommendation on the back of your packet? I don't take creatine though so I wouldn't know precisely. Perhaps 400-500ml? at a guess...

Bit odd, guess you'l just have to test it a few times (with different amounts of water) to get it how you like it Wink

When I do take straight creatine, I just dump the powder in my mouth and chase it with water. It's not a huge deal. The main part is to stay hydrated throughout the entire day.

Ahh okay, this creatine powder will not dissolve in water and is very gritty Tongue
I mixed my remaining water with a bit of Icelandic yogurt and drank it. I hope the yogurt wasn't too acidic.
