Yes. I almost completed my whole month of taking Creatine. I kinda screwed up my regular weekly biz, because I was on holiday. I didn't drink as much as I should, and I got some heart problems again. So I stopped early 2 days ago. I think it'll ease down. And if it's due to not having a good weekly routine etc. I'm ready for the next month. For now, 2 months off. Cheers!

Yeah, basically. There are other possible health benefits, but nothing concrete IIRC(Will Brink's creatine report mentions some of these benefits)

Good info thanks!
I have a question, which PROBABLY has been answered somewhere in this sea of posts, but it'd be impossible to read all the pages, so here goes:
Is it still true that caffeine can inhibit the absorption of creatine? I ask because a lot of PWO supplements contain both creatine and caffeine. So i'd think that this is probably a "myth?"

Because caffeine is a diuretic, it would technically speaking be at odds with creatine. However, I've read online that a lot of people use caffeine while on creatine and it still worked. Just try to space out the usage of the two. I'm not sure what caffeine's half life is, but just try not use caffeine a few hours before or after your creatine use.

Hey, my cousin that's been going to the gym for like 10 years gave me a creatine tub "Scitec nutrition 100% creatine monohydrate" and told me that it's a worthy supplement. After reading this thread I just have 2 quick questions; -Is it necessary to take creatine in the morning or can I take it in the middle of the day (when I get home from school at about 5pm). -Is it okay for me to take it immediately after my workout on my workout days or should I wait for a couple of hours after my workout instead? My PWO nutrition is a whey protein shake (1.5 scoops + water) and a banana or an apple.

Take it when you can. It is not directly related to work out. It builds in your system. I take mine after my workout since I make a protein shake for a quick meal.

I know Uglok reccomends a 10g-12g loading phase 3-5 days followed by 2-3g for the rest of the cycle and 6-8 weeks of no creatine between cycle. Exactly how long is the total cycle and does a cycle include both the loading and maintenance phase or is the loading phase a one time only thing?

I don't recommend 10-12g loading phase -- I recommend NO loading phase at all.
If you were going to take a loading phase, it is the very beginning part of every cycle and typically 5-7 days of higher-than-maintenance consumption.
Each cycle is generally recommended to be 4-12weeks, so that is up to you also.
So if you wished to load an example cycle would be:
1st week -- 10g/day 2nd week - 3-5g/day 3rd week - 3-5g/day 4th week - 3-5g/day 5th week - 3-5g/day 6th week - 3-5g/day 7-12 weeks no creatine.
Then repeat. For no loading (as it seems completely unnecessary) just do the 1st week 3-5g/day same as you would otherwise.
