I drink a sixpack on friday and a sixpack on saturday this is probably effecting my gains eh?

    Yes, it affects your abillity to gain muscle and and that sixpack has well over 1500 calories.

    Yeah beer will defiantly most likely slow progress down. That's why I stick to hard liquor if I drink (shots or mix drink). Tongue It goes beer for bulking and vodka for cutting and dieting.  Cheesy

    Best if you don't drink at all. The liver is very sensitive to alcohool.

    That's an obvious statement... What man made thing isn't? In Moderation it's fine.  Roll Eyes We are still human don't need to be so anal about every little thing it's fine to "cheat" every now and then.  Cheesy

    I agree... If this was a perfect world where they weren't trying to kill us all and make us sick for money. There would be less man made things and more natural things. Like fruit without pesticides, *cough* Marijuana *cough*, etc. and no white bread, soda, liquor etc. I could keep going. Nothing in this world is organic not even the "healthy food" is healthy and organic nowadays.

    Lawdy lawd, the alcohol discussion has been covered ad naseum.

    To sum up my point of view, drinking is fun.  You should drink occasionally if you get enjoyment out of it.  Yes, it can affect your goals for a couple days, but what are a couple days in the grand scheme of things?  Not very much at all.

    obviously it ruins your gains physically, should weigh the benefits and the consequences what are you more serious about? your social life or your gains? ruining your social health can be stressful maybe depressing to some people at least and stress/depression will ruin your gains. if i was you id say screw my social life and concentrate on my bodies health/gains, but you're not me. hope that helps.
