Hello, i don't found any thread on this subject so i starting one. Is fruit sugar direct bad for you? My big brother says that it converts in the body to regular sugar and i found some facts on the internet from doctors that are saying it's good for you and some bad. For an ex, Jack LaLanne uses a lot of honey in his meal examples which have only fruit sugars in it, and today i am home sick and i drink warm milk with some honey in it to help me heal so is fruit sugars bad for you?

The sugar in real fruit is good for you, generally all unrefined carbs are good. However, heavily processed fruit juices are bad imo, as almost everything has been taken out of them(one of the reasons fruit is good is because they are high in fiber), leaving basically sugar and certain vitamins.
Also, I don't think honey is a fruit. I'm going to say honey is one of the few exceptions to the ''unrefined carbs are good'' thing I said, because honey doesn't contain anything more than sugar, it is very low in vitamins and minerals.

No such thing as "X turns into regular sugar". Carbs are carbs. Fructose is one of the lowest GI natural sugar, and along with the fibers in fruits, it is not bad for you, not to mention we humans are pretty much fructose tolerant. A bit of honey is not bad, but don't go overboard.

This was an excellent read, you can watch this popular video "Sugar: The Bitter Truth" that many people seem to agree 100% and Alan Aragon's excellent response:
