I have two brands at home right now. One says 35 minutes, one says 25 minutes only. From personal experience I found that 25mins are definitely not enough, 35mins, however, got the job done.
You could also try instant rice, just pop it into the microwave and you're good to go. But be careful, I think in some countries instant rice is just pre-cooked rice but still needs to be heated up in boiling water for some minutes, just check the packages.
In order to make it taste better try to use fresh cut salsa - makes everything taste great

Also, rice mostly is used as a side dish so you might wanna eat it with some meat, then your taste buds won't fully concentrate on the rice.
