Alright, i dont know anything about fitness, im not the fittest guy in the world but im above average when its according to fitness.

Anyways, i just saw the "Spartacus Boot Camp" , if you dont know Spartacus is a tv show like a gladiator thing.

So i saw this video on youtube , and i heard from them, that their diet consists of 4 protein shakes a day with like every shake having a piece of banana inside.

And from what the guys look like in the show, i say that its a pretty good diet. But is it advisable though?

And im 17 by the way, 166 cm 115 pounds/ 55.5 kg

So yup, that is all, im looking forward to finding out the answer for this as if it is alright to do this sort of diet i am trying it out. Cheesy

The word can means choice. Thus, you can, by choice, take protein shakes for diet.

The issue, however, is should you?

    No. http://proteinshakes-forweightloss.com/

Your body doesn't mean only muscles. You can't torture it like that. One shake a day is enough , the rest of the protein you must get from 4-5 well ballanced meals a day which should be meat/eggs/vegetables/fruit/cereal etc. I am not an expert in the protein powder thing as i never had any in my life but i have a strict bodybuilding nutrition and i have great results without it. Good luck!

Gotta remember those videos are promotional purposes.
I am sure they eat a healthy breakfast..then throughout the day they drink protein shakes. but by dinner they have a healthy meal.

Go try training for 1 week straight and only drink 5 protein shakes in a day. See where that gets you.

Assuming the shake had everything you need in it than ya but you would probably have to make it yourself.

It's not like like they weren't already massive/ lean to begin with, this was just to get them a bit more cut for the show, I really doubt they kept it up for that long.

I have tried the taking 3 meals regulary and 3 as shakes and had to stop because I never felt full. all the ligued in my body just made me continuely have to pee. Now I'm just trying to drink a shake maybe 1-2 times a day max to stay fuller.
