I read many articles on carbs post workout and like always there's some pros and cons.
Many people say that an insulin spike ( due to carb intake) will certainly lower your growth hormone ( which builds muscle) and therefore carbs should be consumed pre workout. Other say that carbs post workout are crucial for muscle building because your body will use them carbs to rebuild muscle thus sparing protein.
I found out recently that my body doesn't work well on a high carb diet so I just consume them pre workout. But then again your body might feel good on a low fat diet, you just need to try and see what works best
