Hey guys! I don't have microwave in my office so I take food from home in containers. So if I cook at the evening and want to take chicken to office, what recipes would you recommend. I tried to boil chicken and then just eat it, and it was disgusting, especially organic chicken (my grandma has farm), they smell and taste really bad when they cold. So maby baking and then taking it to office is better idea? And what recipes would you recommend for this? I guess chicken/turkey sandwitch is good idea, but I try to keep my diet as low card as possible so bread is not acceptable I guess.
And what else would you recommend for me to take to office if here is no microwave, but here is fridgerator, I need something that I would just take from fridge and eat.

Now I take in office cottage cheese, nuts, scooby protein bars and green tea. And eat warm food only at the morning and evening, what would you recommend guys?

I practically have a fetish for fridge-cold chicken and salmon. I could eat worlds made of them and all I need alongside it is something to drink Grin Just nuke it the night before, fridge it and eat it.

Why not make yourself a nice chicken salad and take it to work in an airtight locking tub/container? Iceberg lettuce, grated/shredded carrot, cherry tomatoes and your baked or grilled chicken.

And yeah, boiled chicken sounds utterly vile.

Isnt' it bad to drink while eating? I have the same thing actually.

    What I'd do: roast on or two chickens (or turkeys) in the oven. Doing that shouldn't be very new to you. Take you roast out and leave it to cool down. Chop it up in rather small pieces and devide it in small freeze-proof containers, that will hold you chicken need for each coming day (or even two). So now you have several of these containers and each evening (or every two evenings) you take out a container and put it in the fridge to defrost overnight and the next day you have your chicken/turkey which you can use to whatever purpose.

    Some ideas:
    Chicken + chopped hard boiled eggs + some kind of sauce
    Chicken + veggies
    Chicken + nuts + honey on bread (in the form of a toast, so the carbs remain lower)

    Guys can you tell me please what is "GRILLED CHICKEN", I'm not from USA and grill or bbq isnt popular here. Is it cookable on regular kitchen or do u need bbq/grill?

    Few more ideas to make it more enjoyable to eat:

    Do a nice stir-fry with veggies and loads of spices.

    Chicken + lean bacon + low-fat Quark cheese = creamy goodness, packed with protein

    Oven-cooked chicken with loads of lemon and olive oil

    1.  Chicken plus a tin of mixed beans in unsalted water.  Put them in a bowl, add some olive oil, tomato sauce, and some tabasco sauce.  It's pretty nice, and has about 60 grams of protein in it.

    2.  If you like low carb, this one is great.  Take some mixed fruit and nuts and put them in a tupperware box with a scoop of choc protein powder.  Add a little milk when you want to eat it -- not much though, because the powder is nicer thick.  Mix it and eat.

    3.  Milk is an easy thing to gulp down in an office mid morning and mid afternoon.

    4.  Another low carb one: chicken, mature cheese, rocket leaves, cherry tomatoes.  Mix before work, put in a tupperware box, and eat when ready.

    Makin, yes you do need a grill to make grilled chicken. It gives it flavor from the process of cooking over gas or charcoal and adds flavor with no calories.

    But i see so many recipes on bodybuilding sites with "grilled" chicken why is it so popular. I guess few of us live in own house and have barbecue on their backyard to make a grilled chicken? Cooking it in non-stick ribbed frying pen would do the same probably?
