i recently found out what BMR is and i am currrently following scooby's advanced intermediate workout plan, today i discovered that my bmr is about 1750 calories per day, and i started to calculate what i have been eating and i found out that i have only been eating about 1400 calories a day, yet i have still managed to lose fat and gain muscle, i am so confused? i dont know how this could be possible i have checked so many times know if i entered the correct things in the caloriecounter program that i am using and it was really 1400 calories i am eating per day. so basically im very confused about how my body have changed considering i was eating 350 calories under my BMR for about 5 months??

and what should i do now? should i proceed with what i am doing and then eat at my BMR so i still keep on losing weight?

    Perhaps an accidental miscalculation?

Eating under your BMR is never advised, especially for so long. 1400kcal is nothing really. I think you should actually count your calories by hand for a while rather than relying on a counter program.

350 calories below bmr for 5 months?

Your calculations definitely off are but that's ok: you are gaining muscle and losing fat.

Whatever you are doing seems to be working for you.
