First of all I would like to point out that I am not in any way trying to offend Scooby, what he does for hundreds of thousands of people is something must of us should look up to, and I am very grateful that he puts all his time, effort and money in this forum & website.
That being said, I'd like to discuss the microwave cooking, I remember someone commenting on one of his cooking videos where he prepares "healthy" body building meals. I put healthy as a quote because to me, they're not healthy. Sorry, but I just don't see how for example a cup of frozen vegetables with some spaghetti sauce in a jar from a grocery store microwaved to hell can be healthy. anyways, the person left a comment saying that microwaving food is a bad thing simply put. Scooby told him to not believe everything he heard.
Fact: What little nutritional value was left in that food was completely destroyed by microwaving it. Microwave cooking has been proven to have severe health risks, such as a short term decrease in white blood cells, a decrease in all cholesterol values, can cause tumors, cancer, causes disorders in the digestive system, reduces food value, vitamins and minerals made useless, and an interesting one:
It destroys the nutritive value of nucleoproteins in meats. All foods damaged: It greatly accelerates the structural disintegration of all foods: Meat Proteins Are Made Useless. You can see where I'm going with this, the list goes on and on.
To me, it seems wrong that a person promoting health and fitness would tell people that are struggling with obesity or young teens that are still growing and need every bit of nutrients they can get that there is absolutely nothing wrong with microwaving their meals. There is something wrong with it:
It destroys what little nutritional value is left in American diets today. Some people even spend more money on organically grown vegetables and meats and end up microwaving it. which is completely counter-productive.
Again, I'm not ragging on Scooby, I'm just expressing my feelings on this topic, and I'm sure some people will agree with me and some wont, which is fine.
Anyways, I would like to hear people's opinions
