Yes and no , fruit are very healthy and there is no chance for something bad to happen because of it but for building muscle you are going to need a little bit more.

No, no and no due the fact that protein generates low-grade metabolic acidosis. In simple terms: it's acid that body neutralizes by stealing calcium from bones and glutamine from you muscles. Green veggies are best things you can do to remedy the amount of acids in your body. As they contain higest amounts off "alkaline" which lowers the amounts of acids, some fruits are neutral enough to lower it enough. But that generates other acids which also have their own negative sides. ^_^

So veggies are somewhat essential for healthy bones. You could concider some powdered veggie product, most suplement stores sell em.

As Fireball mentioned, fruit contains acid, and most green veggies are alkaline. Your body will have a lack of buffer in the bloodstream, if you try to make up for veggies with fruit, your bones will be robbed of calcium, as your blood must be at a stable PH, theoretically of course. You might get an increased chance of osteoporosis or some crazy bone disorder. Of course, they contain different micro nutrients, so the idea would be entirely counterproductive. Just stock your freezer with mixed veggies, green beans, spinach, whatever floats this boat, and eat minimum 2 cups daily, maybe 4, throw on some fresh cut salsa, or in a hash, and eat them like a... I wanna say man but you're a female, but anyways, eat them like a person. They are also less calorie dense than most fruits, more fiber, more filling, and start tasting good after a while, and soon, you will crave your veggies. Mixed frozen veggies, are great right out of the bag, especially when hot out. Shelled edemame is also really good. Squash, mushrooms, eggplant, sweet potatoes, onions, etc are wonderful as well. Broccoli, cabbage and Brussels sprouts taste like a combination butt module and fermented crap IMO. Corn is not a veggie however, it is a grain. Pizza, according to actual scientific data (saw it on pubmed), and the government, is technically a vegetable though Grin. That video is entirely off the topic though.

Whoa, interesting! ...I DO recall seeing that pizza being a vegetable thing being mentioned around here. ...That's just dumb though...  Sad

Alright, I'm gonna try to think of a way to incorporate the vegetables I have into breakfast - I've fallen into a monotonous routine of oatmeal first thing in the morning.  Undecided

Idea, do 2-4 scrambled eggs with onion, lean diced ham, bell pepper, and 2/3 cups mixed veggies. If you need more protein you can always have cottage cheese and berries on the side. It'll fill you up a bit better than oatmeal.

I forgot to mention I suck at scrambling eggs.  Wink Ahaha, mainly because I refuse to use oil and butter, and my pans aren't even non-stick.

Are bananas acidic too? That's the main fruit I eat!  Grin

Start small and aim for 2 cups of veggeies a day, thats what I'm doing to because I have the same problem you do.

At night I eat 2 cups frozen veggies. Soon I will incorporate more once I start cooking more.

Just eat your veggies, fruits will never fully cover the benefit of vegetables. The benefits will be tremedious when you age, lack of eating vegetables have also tremedious negative efects healthwise.

Use the olive oil, not like fat is bad for you. But ya, da burrito looks good. Throw in some dijon mustard though, or salsa.
