isit ok for me to eat low fat mayo it has 4.0 grams of fat per serving. allotageather 24.0 grams of fat in whole tub (not much fat per whole tube Smiley )  The reson im eating low fat instead of no fat is because i cant find it anywhere in the shops only low fat or fat lol. I would like to mix it in with my tuna thanks.

No! Low fat is usually based on some fictional number that companies invent to get you to buy their product. Most "low fat" items are still pretty high in fat but not as high as the original. Pretty sly huh?  Tongue

Now lets look at origin Mayo. Original mayo is made up of 85% fat. And that fat is bad fat. So no original mayo.

How about low fat mayo? Low Fat Mayo has lots of starch to make up for the taste in the original mayo and still has around 5 grams of fat per table spoon.

So in conclusion, just cut the mayo.

    Hope that helped.

If it fits within your nutritional plan then you may take it, it won't make you fat, however, like brothers said, it's not healthy fat and it's also good merchandising by the companies. If you're about to lose weight then you're better off omitting it, if you're already lean then you can enjoy it in moderation.
