I'm a single guy, so I go on many first dates. I try to avoid dinner as its expensive and hard to eat in proper portions. How do you guys handle this? Right now I've been making some great progress towards my fat loss goals, but then the dinner thing comes up. I have been lucky to dodge the bullet for the most part, but honestly it's kind of a drag. I feel like I'm one step away from bigorexia for trying to avoid such a situation.

If it were a gf, it'd be easier to handle as my exes while hating the idea of doing it, were supportive.

I hope Scooby can answer this one personally as well since he's the nutritional nazi.

Just do something other then eating... or cook for her yourself. More romantic anyway.

At night, it's one of the better options for a date (as oppose to drinking or watching a movie, unless its at her place).

I try to steer away from romance as I'm not interested in a relationship.

If you dont want a relationship, why do you go on first dates?
first implies there will be more, and more usually implies that you want a relationship?
imo, have a hand shandy or go get a one night stand  Tongue

One night stands and booty calls are what I'm after. Booty calls do begin w/first dates, lol (with a few exceptions).

haha, that is true  Cheesy
imo, it depends on your diet.
I dont know what you do, but if you carb cycle, you could arrange your dates on a high day?
If not, then a cheat meal never hurt anyone, but blue balls do!  Grin

I couldn't agree more dude, I couldn't AGREE MORE!!!

Right now I haven't had a cheat meal in 2 months and kind of dig it. Lower carbs, but not cycling. Down to 12% bf and upper abs are FINALLY starting to show. So, I kind of don't want to stop the momentum, know what I mean.

On the other hand, regular sex is part of health though. So maybe a cheat meal is due?

Or, think about it this way, sex is good exercise, so if you eat a big meal, you will just burn it off anyway Smiley

^ lol that is some lame sex you are having bro. Or you need to grab the reigns and take some action if you are only burning 50 calories.

Anyways. Just cook dinner for each other. Seems kind of obvious to me Cheesy 1. It's impressive (girls like being impressed as long as you are not obviously trying to do so, even then sometimes) 2. Men who take care of themselves are a turn on 3. It gives you a chance to be more personable, to increase the connection. I realize you are going for "booty-calls and one nighters" and as long as they are in the same mindset I don't really have an moral issue, but most girls (and lots of guys) still need a "connection".

If they are in the same mind set (i.e. you are not playing them) then why even have dinner? And if you are playing them. Then stop it. That's mean, and you are only ruining it for the rest of us.

and If you just wanna have sex: hit up the clubs, get a girl there, screw her and gtfo.
There you're bound to find girls who "just wanna have fun", so dot ruin it with the more serious women for us who are looking for long term relationships.

I morally object.  The bible makes it clear that this type of thing is wrong. Have you not heard the good news?

Moon. I don't think you are allowed to use the bible as a reference.
