Hi, i'm 18 nearly 19 and have been lifting for a few years consistently but have never got on top of my diet. I have gained some strength and size but nothing special and nowhere near to what I aspire (currently 150pounds and would like to be 170/180 in like 5 years).

I'm at uni now and have my breakfast and evening meals provided in halls.. which means i'm kind off restricted in what I can eat ( the protein in meals is not suffice and there's the option for a fried breakfast everyday!)

Has anyone got any tips , like what's the best cereals to stick to and what i can eat for lunch and in the evenings after main meals ect. I have a mini fridge if this helps

Milk milk milk.  If they have a milk dispenser, go fill up glass after glass and chug it down.  Look for meals with meat and vegetables, and as it doesn't seem to be an issue of overeating for you, eat as much of those things as you feel like.
