Edit: woops, and it being high function means I'm regular people or better intelligence wise.

Yeah most of the time it's not visible over the internet, but better to be one of those many cases than one of those cases where it's so prevalent you can spot it a mile away (and through tubes)?

Moon why don't you try dating someone who also has autism? You might better be able to understand each other.
That was a bit uncalled for wasn't it? Besides, I'd say aspbergers....  Roll Eyes

Didn't mean it in a bad way. I guess it makes more sense if I mentioned Moon and I have talked on facebook.

Well smiley, as I said, I had no idea moon had aspbergers, and I'm guessing you & him are pretty cool on the issue so I won't get more involved Tongue

    Moon,
If you haven’t found it already there’s some discussion over at http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt55410.html regarding Aspergers dating sites
They recommend http://www.aspieaffection.com/  (I cannot verify it myself so be careful)

Also my recommendation is look at where most people with higher functioning Asperger's Syndrome end up i.e. University departments (maths/science./engineering/IT)   and look at joining their social clubs, online forums etc. to meet someone.

Nice article (below) to help you sell yourself to the next girl
    http://ezinearticles.com/?Dating-Someone-With-Aspergers---What-a-Awesome-Experience-You-Are-Going-to-Have-Dating-an-Aspie&id=1543239

    Good luck mate.

Checked it, there's no one in my area.  Doesn't seem too "populated".  That article might start some interesting conversation Cheesy.  Not sure how many women actually want brutal honesty though Roll Eyes

Anywho, here's an update: that one I was in a conversation with stopped getting back to me, so that means I basically accomplished nothing so far Cheesy.  I have sent a few messages out since then, largely to no avail.

But.. But! I went to psychology today, and my friend Dana is in that class! I was so cited..  And even more excited when I saw her adorable friend that's in there too.  I think I could actually say something to her after seeing her a couple more times.  If i keep this mild confidence streak going I might say something Tuesday.  Yknow general appropriate conversation.

Lotsa cute girls at the college, so if I screw up it's not "over".

And in even better news, I'm approximate 3/5 done building my calf raise machine I bought... So something positive is actually going on in my life Roll Eyes

So, Sent out a few messages on a site, we'll see how this batch goes.  I'm hoping halfway decent.  I still haven't gotten a chance to have that talk with my friend Chris too ,so there's something I have to try to setup too...

And next psych class is Tuesday morning so there's that to look forward to as well.

So I talked to Chris, and she said she's still not really looking for a relationship, but she said if we hang out a few times we can go from there.  I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but spending time with her is enough. For the time being..

.. Hopefully if things go well we can hold hands ^.^
