Hello everybody ! Smiley

It's so good to be back, this has been a while. What happened to me those previous 3 months? A freaking car happened to hit me with 70km/h.
I think it was a miracle I survived and that I was in a coma during only 2 weeks with several fractures( clavicle, ankle and hip bone + some muscle tears). Now I'm finally out of this God damn hospital and luckily for me, no permanent trauma here Smiley.

My present condition is really not bad so my therapist said I could join the gym again in 1 week ( This really makes me happy).

Now for the bad part is that I have to shed 10 kg of fat Sad ( no more definition at all but eh, who cares? I LIVE SO I CAN MAKE EM 6 PACK AGAIN!!!)

I'm thinking of doing a full body workout routine to get my strengh back!

Cheers and wish me luck !

Nick

(NOTE : Damn!!! So many things changed here, congratz for the moderators Wink )

Therapist said to wait untill monday but I still had a lil' workout today just for fun Smiley

3 sets of 25 push-ups
3 sets of 12 weighted (5kg) crunches
3 sets of 25kg MP
3 sets of 12 dips
3 sets of 6 pull ups

Conclusion : My strengh decreased dramatically but I'll make sure to get it back in no time Smiley

    Ok I've been looking for a nice full body routine and I think that Stronglifts 5x5 ( with some modifications Cheesy )suits me very well :

    Workout A

    - Squat
    - Bench Press / Incline BP ( I'll alternate them)
    - Bent over rows ( I know they put inverted row but I really dislike them)
    - Dips (  yeah yeah, I know they put push ups, but meh, not enough chalenging I guess)
    - Hanging leg raises ( Meeh, reverse crunche sucks) + normal weighted crunches
    - Overhead triceps dumbbell press(*) [ Only one day a week]

    Workout B

    - Squat
    - Overhead Press
    - Deadlift ( Going for 5x5, not 1x5 like they say)
    - Pull ups
    - BB curls(*)

    (* = Useless but without them It'll feel like something's missing)

    So what do you guys think? I'll switch to 4DAW once I get 120kg skwat, 100kg BP and 160kg DL Smiley

    Only 2 weeks in a coma!!! Ouch.

    Glad to see you back at it, just wanted to wish you the best of luck Smiley

    Edit : Just wanted to say - I've been doing 5x5 squats + 5x5 deadlifts and it leaves me absolutely wasted (but then I've not been at this that long).....you might want to work that one up gradually maybe?

    Guess you're right. I'll try 3x5 for DL's at first and if I feel I can do more then I'll switch to 5x5 Smiley ! Also thanks for the kind words Wink

    Okay today, 11/10/2010 was my very first serious workout within months

    1)Squat : warm up with 1x15x40kg;
     5x5x80kg = Nice
    2)Bench press : warm up with 1x15x30kg;
     5x5x50kg = Disappointed
    3)Bent over rows : warm up with 1x15x30kg;
     5x5x50kg = Not too bad
    4)Dips :warm up with 1x12@BW;
     3x8x+6kg = ... Never imagined that I could do this much with 3-4 months off
    5)Overhead triceps DB press :warm up with 1x10x15kg
     3x8x30kg = Useless exercise but I like it Smiley

    I'm a little bit surprised on how well it worked, might fall in love with full body workout routines Cheesy
