This is where Im going to start  Cheesy. (Started 9th of July 2010)

HOW DID I GET STARTED IN FITTNESS?
I was asked to go on a family holiday back in 2010, and I thought to myself well I have 1 and a half years to get right into shape and be confident in front of everyone in the pool/at the beach. So I went online looking for tips on how to get fit and a six pack...I was searching on youtube, and came across scooby, he seemed more knowledgeable and realistic than other people on there, and he just had the appeal factor! So I decided to go to his main website scoobysworkshop! At first It was ahh i'll just get a six pack just by doing crunches, then did I know how much pain, effort and knowledge went into getting an amazing body. since then I have gathered a great amount of knowledge about nutrition/fitness/the body in general...I don't want to be a body builder, just as muscular and as lean and athletic as possible...This is part of my life, and could not live without it, I am addicted!



MY ILLNESS
I have not been in the best of health over my life, I have had osteosarcoma (bone cancer) 4x. It all started when I was 9 years old, I found out because I was getting a lot of pain in my left leg, and could not run without extreme pain. So I went to the doctors and they said it was growing pains Tongue...anyway, my mum waited around 2 weeks and the pains where still the same. So we went back, and saw a different doctor, and he sent me for an x-ray, and from that x-ray they diagnosed me with bone cancer, (cancer of the bone), so I was sent to a top london hospital where I had lots of chemotherapy, and had the hole of my thigh bone replaced with metal. It looked good after all my treatment life was good, I was healthy, but 2 years later it returned in the same leg, but in different spot of my left leg. So I went through it all again, losing my hair, going through loads of things people can't even understand until you are in this predicament yourself, or have a family member with cancer, this happen again 1 more time again in the leg.

This cancer has left me without the use of my left leg due to having cancer 3x in it, and they have taken too much muscle and bone. (The 4th time I had cancer was in my lung aged 16), the cancer travelled through my blood stream over time onto my lung, so I went through major lung surgery and chemotherapy for the 4th time (lung surgery is one of the worst type of surgery you can have), It truly makes you a well grounded person, and nothing ever fazes you... till this day 31st march 2012 I have been clear from any cancer and have been living life, and enjoying every second of being normal...being able to live life with not worrying as much, and planning for the future.


MY NUTRITION

I eat 4-5 meals per day consisting of around 25-35g of protein per meal, I always have protein before and after working out.

WHAT CARDIO DO YOU DO?
I can only do 1 form of cardio and that is swimming, I swim anything from 3-5x a week depending on my current goals. I swim all year round, at least 3 days a week, and if I have a swimathon or a swimming triathlon coming up then I will bump it up again to try to beat my previous years record, incorporating this into a cut usually.


WHAT IS YOUR OVERALL GOAL?
I want to be as ripped and as strong in relation to my bodyweight as possible and maybe competing one day in a natural bodybuilding comp, whilst always maintaining a great cardiovascular fitness all year round.

CURRENT STATS 1/1/2012

- Bodyfat 13%
- Weight 144lb 10 stone 4lb
- Dips 3x13 unweighted
- DB press 24kg 11,10,10
- DB Incline press 20kg 10-10-9
- 3x6 Pullups unweighted
- DB rows 17kg 11-11-12
- crunches 20kg 9-8-8
- shoulder db press 14kg 2x10 1x9

starting to eat more now 14th may 2012, will see how this help's with strength gains, ill start my cut next year again...

Current BP 62.5kg 5x5 5" above chest) weak.
Current Abs 25kg crunches 3x11

    Yea I have a nice back + One super strong leg as I had bone bancer in my left one so (I can't use it to do weights) But the right one is huge lol +I already had a pretty good chest & back  as im on crutches for life now as they can't fix my leg so i can walk again  Tongue...never mind

    been on them for 3 years now !

    Finished my workout  Cheesy

    I did 11 pushups (new record) - (I do them slowly)
    Skull crushers (with bar) 7kg - I just about did 8 reps as I used 1kg higher weight higher  Wink
    Dunbell fly's 5kg - I need to up the weight a little bit next time
    Dunbell press - I need more weights  Grin I used 12kg per arm so I might try using my bar next time as that weigh's 5kg (alone)
    concentration curl - I used more weight (4.25kg) (9 reps) - I need to try to do 10-11 reps next time
    5 chinups Smiley - I'll go for 6 next time

    Today I did my workout

    I DO 8-12 REPS OF EVERYTHING SLOWLY 2-3 SEC'S EACH REP

    10-Pushups
    Skull crusher with bar (7kg) - used (Bar weigh's 5kg alone)
    Dunbell flys (5kg) - used (I will try using a bit more weight next time)
    Dunbell press (15kg) - I used the bar as it weights 5kg alone (I need some more weights really)
    Consontration curl (4.25kg) - both arms ( now my left arm has aught up with my right )  Smiley
    chinups - 6

    I repeated this 2x with some press-ups at the end (close together pressups) to work those tricpe...I did 6 and a half then clasped LOL  Grin

    TODAY 20/6/2010

    10 PUSHUPS
    7KG SKULL CRUSHERS (with 5kg bar)
    DUNBELL FLY'S (added 0.5/half KG) 5.5 KG  Cheesy
    DUNBELL PRESS (ALL WEIGHTS) - Need more really
    CONSONTRATION CURL (4.5 KG) - Ive added 0.5 kg in about 3 weeks  Grin
    5 PULLUPS


    I repeated this sequence 2x  Wink

    So im adding weight on a few of my exercises witch is good  Grin and im also doing crunches as well to tighten up those muscles down their and mabey get a 1 pac??  Cheesy who knows mabey 4 or if im lucky 6 haha - I do them

    TODAY IS A BIG DAY ! Ohhh Yea I've grown half an inch on my right and a bit less of my left Cheesy
    haha now im 13.5 inches  (right ) and just over 13.2 inches on my left haha getting closer to my 16 inch !!

    I did 11 chinups Cheesy and 1 pullup before I could only do 5 chinups and not even half a pull up  Grin

    10 (wide press ups)
    Skull crushers - 12kg (with bar)
    dunbell flys (I used 4.25 kg but could go more so next time I'll increase to 4.5kg  Wink)
    Dunbell press 10kg (per dunbell) need more weight really
    Dunbell curl (I used more weight  Wink) - 5.25 kg  Cheesy

    I repeated this 2x with more press ups at the end (close press ups)  Grin

    SKULL CRUSHERS (With Curl bar) - 7kg (same weight  Undecided)
    DUMBBELL FLYS- 5.5kg (Getting stronger)  Wink
    DUNBELL PRESS 11KG (Getting stronger)  Smiley
    CONCENTRATION CURL (5.5KG) - New weight, my new record  Cheesy

    I repeated this 2x with more pressups and pullups at the end  Wink.... Good workout
