Hey guys, sorry I haven't been updating lately, but I will frequently from now on Wink. Ok, we did an unexpected workout on Monday..we have a really lazy P.E. Coach. So I did my workout yesterday. DOMS in my Traps/Upper back from Deadlifts. Not sure if I should swap BB rows with a different exercise, because Deadlifts really take a lot outta me. Great doms in my legs, as well. I'm maxing out my weights with Deadlifts, and don't know when I can buy more  Undecided. I do have a home gym I was convinced into buying from a guy at Academy a while back, so I'll probably return it and exchange it for more weights. DEADLIFTS ARE BY FAR MY FAVORITE EXERCISE. BW Calf Raises weren't a challenge, so next workout I'll do them with some 25 or 30 lb Dumbbells. I also converted LBS. into KGS. for the log, as i've seen many people use KGS on this forum. I'll try to do a few LBS. more than usual next workout on every exercise, just to make sure i'm progressing. HAPPY LIFTING EVERYONE!!

    THURSDAY JANUARY 27, 2011's WORKOUT
    WORKOUT A

    Bench Press

    120 lbs x 8
    115 lbs x 6
    110 lbs x 7

    Bent Over Rows

    100 lbs x 6
    95 lbs x 8
    90 lbs x 8

    Military Press

    80 lbs x8
    75 lbs x8
    70 lbs x10

    BB Curls

    75 lbs x 8
    70 lbs x 8
30 lbs x 10 *Dumbbell Curls, felt great haven't done them in about a month or two Tongue*

    Hanging Leg Raises

    3x12

Great workout for me. Drenched in sweat. I decided to focus more on form for BB curls and lower the weight a bit from last week. Gives a better pump for me anyways. Greatly improving on bench press with this FB program. I was barely doing 110x8 a month ago. Next workout I'll probably lower the weight on Rows to focus a bit more on form. Finished my workout in <45 minutes this time. Well, time to go get some protein and do homework, happy lifting.

    MONDARY

    JANUARY 31, 2011's WORKOUT

    WORKOUT A

    Bench Press

    1x9 120 lbs
    2x8 120 lbs

    Bent Over Rows

    1x8 100 lbs
    1x8 95 lbs
    1x8 90 lbs

    Military Press

    3x8 80 lbs.

    BB Curls

    1x8 85 lbs
    1x7 80 lbs
    1x8 80 lbs

    Hanging Leg Raises

3x20 *going to start doing these weighted*

Ok. I was RIDICULOUSLY energized and strong today. It might be because I got like 3 extra hours of sleep last night, I don't know. ALL lifts went up in poundage and reps for some reason.

August 13th,2010 I was 5'5 127 lbs. I was barely benching 105 lbs for reps. Barely curling 70 lbs for reps, and barely doing 70 lbs on Military Press.

January 31st, 2011 I am 5'6 150 lbs. I am benching 120 lbs for reps. Curling 85 lbs for reps, and doing 3x8 with 80 lbs on Military Press.

Today was the first time I weighed myself in MONTHS. I am shocked at how much I weigh, though. I have a '2 pack' when flexed, and when I was 127 it was a bit more visible. I don't know how it's possible to gain 23 lbs of muscle in 5 months, but I know some of it is fat as well.

I conclude that after switching from my shitty 5 DAW split to a 3 DAW FB routine, I have made incredible progress.

    HAPPY LIFTING

    Thursday February 3rd, 2011 Workout

    Flat BB Bench Press

    2x8 125 lbs
1x7 125 lbs *Didn't want to risk failure on last rep*

    Standing BB Military Press

    2x8 85 Lbs
    1x6 85 lbs
    2 reps 80 lbs

    Bent Over Barbell Rows

    1x8 90 lbs
    2x8 85 lbs

    Barbell Curls and DB Curls

    1x70 lbs BB Curl

    2x 30 lbs DB curl

    Hanging Leg Raises 3x20

DECENT workout today. I missed the pump I Get from curling with DBs instead of a BB. Went light on the weights, concentrated on form with curls. I had always wondered WHY DON'T I FEEL MY LATS when I do BB Rows. I realized today, it was because of my shitty form Tongue. Started doing a set of 100, then realized I swing a bit too much, so I lowered the weight a significant amount. I also put 2 10 lb plates on each side to adjust the height of the bar when I Row. I now feel my lats being worked, which is a GREAT FEELING. I may be switching to a Stronglifts 5x5 in two to three weeks, and I will continue it until the middle or end of summer. Going to try to win the Lift-A-Thon in August Wink

    HAPPY LIFTING EVERYONE!!

    Thursday, February 10,2011

I haven't been updating my log much. Busy in real life, *still working out*, and I'm missing workouts on Mon/Wed a LOT lately but I ALWAYS make sure to do 3 workouts a week Smiley. Anyways, time for the workout numbers.

    Bench Press *INSANE IMPROVEMENT!!!*

    130x8
    130x7
130x4 *damn, couldn't finish the reps. Going back to 125 lbs. 3x8 next workout.*
115x5 *felt like I needed to do a bit more.*

Military Press *The bench really tired me out today. I haven't worked out since Sunday, so I felt like I needed to do a light workout*

    70x10
    70x8
    70x8

Bent Over Rows *I like doing these light weight occasionally as well*

    80x10
    80x8
    80x10

Barbell Curls *Greatly improving every week. Going for 130 lb. BB curl by January 1st, 2012*

    85x8
    80x8
    80x8

Well. The workout went pretty good today. I REALLY NEED TO DO DEADLIFTS!!!! On Saturday, I'll do Deadlifts for sure. Haven't done them in probably a month...it's sad really. I had to go with my family to visit a sick family member yesterday..ate horrible. McDonalds, chips, M&M's etc. But that is one of my very rare treat days :p. I also saw my cousin who showed me what supplements he uses. I'm going to start getting Whey, because occasionally we don't have chicken defrosted when I need it after a workout. Also, would you say it's safe for a 15 year old to take NO Xplode in low dosages before workouts?

    HAPPY LIFTING GUYS

Probably THE WORST workout I've had in a long time. My friend came over earlier and wanted to try out my bench, etc. so we started just messing around maxing, causing my workout to be shitty later on lol..

Today: February 16th, 2011. BEST WORKOUT THUS FAR!!!  Grin

Yeah..I know, I know I should be Squatting and doing Workout B, but I'm a bench fanatic...

    Bench Press *Best ever*

    130 lbs x8
    130 lbs x8
    130 lbs x6

    Military Press

    85 lbs x8
    85 lbs x8
    85 lbs x8

BB ROWS *Do I suck at these if I Military Press the same weight?*

    85 lbs x8
    85 lbs x8
    85 lbs x8

Straight Barbell Curls *Stuck at the same damn weight  Undecided*

    85 lbs x8
    80 lbs x8
    80 lbs x8

By far one of if not..my best workout since switching to Full Body workouts. My gains are starting to show significantly. Yesterday I bought a 5 lb. container of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey, and man that stuff is great! I usually don't have an appetite after working out, so this gives me some nice protein after a workout. On Friday, I'll HAVE TO DO WORKOUT B!!! Been WAY too long since I've Deadlifted.

    Happy Lifting!
