How many pullups can you do unweighted.

well i did 17 paused pullups (paused at bottom, so i prevent swinging), after 3 heavy sets with 90lbs attached, so i think i can get 20 strict pullups fresh.

You should go for a 1-arm chinup Smiley

haha no way could i do a 1-arm chinup now.  i'm still not strong enough.  i'd have to do i'd say a 1.75x bodyweight pullup before i could do 1-arm.

    a 1-arm pullup/chinup is a huge feat for anybody.

    yesterday's Upper body day 1:

    pin presses, 405lbs, 5, 4.5, 4, 3, 3

speed bench, 5 sets of 3 with 185

    OHP, 170lbs, 3, 2, 135lbs, 12

    incline cable flyes, 80lbs, 16

i was getting sick in the middle of my workout.  i felt VERY weak going into pin presses, drained, and i thought i was getting sick so i cut my workout short, went home, took advil and lots of vitamin C. i feel better today, but still not 100%, i'm coughing and all that.  i'm also switching around things a bit.  on Monday bench days, i'll throw it strict presses after pullups, take out rows, and put them after pin presses on thursdays.  my triceps are WAY too shot after pin presses, much more so than heavy bench.

    yesterday's Upper body day 1:

bench, 297.5lbs, 2.5, 2, 225lbs, 13 (easy)  screw it, on to 300 next week.  i'll shoot for 3, but if i can only get 2, i'm switching to doubles

    pullups, +95lbs, 1.75, 1, +50lbs, 8, (rest 45 seconds), bodyweight, 8

    seated cable rows, 225lbs, 5, 5, 4, 4, 4

rear delt cable flyes, 42.5lbs, 8, 8, 8 each arm

EZ bar preacher curls, 100lbs, 6, alternating dumbbell curls, 50lbs each hand, 8 each hand easy

switched to dumbells because i feel pain in my wrists when i use a preacher bench for curls.  tendonitis starts to flare up, so i can't go through that again
