Thanks, but I'm not sure if it is shin split. It's in the top of the muscle and I'm not sure, but isn't shin split usually a bit closer to the foot. Anyway I'll rest my legs today so no leg exercise today. Hope it's not shin spit at least, but I think it's just overstrain or something.

I'll do the workout soon because we have a quite chill day in school Wink starts 13.10 and ends like 14-14:15, hahahaha awesome day!
But it's just once Sad

Given that body requires protein every 3 hours does anyone bother with taking in protein through the night? I normally have slow digesting protein before bed with some good oils to slow the digestion down.

Can't tell if troll or still caught in dogma.

Thanks morph.  That does give me something to aim for and it does give me comfort in the fact that it will improve and I won't always be a 200lb weakling hanging limply from the door frame.  Nothing I have ever done in my life (sports wise or work wise) has ever needed me to have a strong back or to even remotely work those muscles thoroughly or consistently.  So I guess for those 42 year old muscles its a shock to the system.

I'm into week 7 and have been doing pretty well.  The last couple of weeks though my weight loss has slowed right up - to a point that I am not losing any weight.  Not gaining, but not losing either.  I've done a recalc of the calories but I'll give it another go tonight and make sure I am on the right course.  Again I think it is more to do with travelling and working long hours - meals are difficult to get right 100% of the time. This week, as I am travelling again and have a gym to do my work in, I have changed up some of the exercises - still working the same body parts, but just using different exercises.  Like doing lat pull downs instead of pull ups and one night doing pec decks instead of pushups.  Its been a good change up actually.

Stop clinging to normal grip then and become the next KK, then.  C'mon boy, I want a buddy chasing my bench so I can get angry.  Angry like Dave Tate.

TOday was volume upper body.  First day doing this kinda thing...haven't had coffee for 2 days...moved out of my room and into another....

Speed bench
8x3x125  whoops a lil too heavy

close grip felt way easier than normal.  Why do I suck at normal grip lol.  I grab the bar differently with my lef and right, lower it differently, and can't explode of the chest.  Close grip, though, I could throw the bar through the ceiling.

DB bench
65 lbs pathetic I know.  I've inclined this before
10, 8, 9

not used to volume at all lol

DB row
3x10x65 each arm

Krock row
85x8.  I will do better next time.  Promise.  I had blood drawn on my left arm and the vein was hurting so I had to stop.

Lat pull down
3x10x120 pretty much.

Some dips and pushdowns thrown in between the lat pulldown.
