Now this is the easiest recipe ever. It consist of 3 things: coffee, cacaopowder and (soy) milk. Now why these ingredients? Coffee: caffein, awesome. Cacaopowder: Now let's get this clear. I mean the real cacaopowder, not the chocolatemilk powder. But why cacaopowder? For the NO-boosting effects and because it's just in total a pretty good thing. (soy) milk: Well this is supposed to soften the taste, else it might be very bitter and because it makes the coffee less hot, which is handy if you want to drink it asap to head off to your workout. Okay so easy: 3/4th of a cup coffee. 1 very full teaspoon of cacaopowder. Soy milk as much as you would prefer. Enjoy PS: Since appearently a teaspoon means diffrent things in diffrent countries, here's what I mean:

Instead of the soy milk you could use a little cold water. That will only dilute the taste a little, more for making it drinkable right away. But if it's just a cup, that should go down pretty quick.

So what would the benefit be over soy milk?

[ I never knew cacao powder was actually good for a pre-workout supplement, I've always added it to my coffee before working out because i like the taste of it

Hmm, I already drink coffee pre-workout, I might add a spoon of cocoa(stuff tastes really strong). Who knows, it could be the secret to Ruben's awesome bench-press.

Damn, no one was supposed to figure that out! And indeed it tastes bitter as hell. It goes along nicely with coffee though (my opinion).

the bitterness "grows hair on your chest" Fine by me i'm harry. The cocoa bitterness is subjective after trying a few time you should develop a taste for it unless you do lots of sweets on other things. Personally I like a chocolate protein shake with 3 tsp of instead coffee on days I need a pre workout boost. The protein powder does not really help but the flavour is nice.

Well you can always add a spoon of darkbrown sugar, which makes it taste like a certain typ of cookie.

Good stuff Ruben, just have to keep stirring it or then it sits on the bottom . Somehow I felt compelled to crush a peppermint Altoid and add it into my coffee to make a peppermint chocolate coffee- didn't work out too well those altoids are strong.
