Chocolate Walnut Brownies, high protien, high fat, medium carbs Smiley.

    Ingredients:
    80g unsalted butter
    80g whole wheat flour
    2 scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    50g chopped walnuts
60g of dark chocolate (make it 300cal) / Chocolate chips
    skim milk

    Directions:
    1) Preheat oven to 190°C.
    2) Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; continue to cook, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes or until butter browns and starts to foam. Remove pan from heat.
    3) In a medium bowl, sift together flour, protein powder, baking soda.
    4) In a large mixing bowl, using a mixer on high speed, beat eggs.
    5) Beat in browned butter and vanilla extract.
    6) Reduce mixer speed to low and beat in dry ingredients. Also add a splash of milk, otherwise it will be way too thick.
    7) Stir in the chopped walnuts.
8 ) Scrape and press batter evenly into baking dish.  Evenly sprinkle with chocolate chips. If you use normal chocolate, just chop it with knife.
    9) Bake for 16-18 minutes or until set and edges look crusty.

    Macro breakdown:
This batter yields ~4 brownies, if you want to make bigger batch, adjust the ingredients. Each brownie goes for: 475c | 20g protein | 27g fat | 38g carbs

Those look really good.  I think I will make them in the near future, although I will probably replace the butter with some fruit puree.  Butter is a little more of a cheat for me than I am comfortable with.  I hope they turn out as well as yours.

Use about 1/2-1cup. Should be enough.

It's just nice to have some european recipes. Meaning grams and whole eggs instead of the american cups and egg beaters/whites Smiley
