k they are kinda like scoobies, but i used a couple different ingredients.

200g of chocolate protein powder (i guess vanilla or strawberry would work to)(7 0z)

150-200 g rolled oats

3 oz marshmellow fluff (optional, just for enhanced taste)

1/2 cup of milk

100 grams of peanut butter (3 0z)

25g cocoa powder (optional as well)

put all ingredients into bowl, and mix around with hands until it is a gooey substance. Next spread it all out into a plate in a square shape, and leave the very large block in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. Next, cut into 6 pieces, with knife, and put in freezer for about 30 minutes before serving.

NUTRItiONaL INFO per piece:

just under 300 calories

15% calories from fat
30-40g of protein depending on powder used

well i mean you cant really make protein bars without protein powders. you could get enough protein without using protein powders, mainly from like chicken, nonfat grek yogurt, nonfat cottage cheese, stuff like that. i use either optimum nutrition 100% gold standard chocolate, or the whole foods organic 100% whey chocolate brand.

i wouldnt try it without the oats, that is what gives it the solidifying feeling. its one of the main ingrediants. if anything i would take out the peanut butter, instead of the oats if i had to choose.

yea i guess you could, but its actually much easier to use weight measurements. if you have a kitchen scale, just put the bowl on the scale then zero it. then add the protein powder, then zero it etc...

Use latex gloves. I do when handling certain foods like onions to avoid the skin on my hands from absorbing the smell.

Anything you can replace the peanut butter with? Does it still taste half decent without the peanut butter?
